We will not share your personal information with third-parties for marketing purposes.
Collected Medical Data
You may be asked to share information, such as your concerns, details about your child’s past medical history, including birth details and pregnancy, as well as developmental progress and any difficulties experienced by your child,
You will be asked for your consent to share relevant medical information with your child’s GP or other professionals to whom any referrals are made (eg Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist).
Where there is a legal obligation to share information or when there is risk of harm to the patient or another vulnerable person this would be discussed prior to making a necessary disclosure unless it is judged that this would increase the level of risk.
Information on a child will be kept until their 25th birthday, or for 8 years after death.
Information is retained in line with Department of Health recommendations.
Purpose of collecting data
Personal information about you / your child, collected when you complete the contact form on the web page, or if you contact I-CAN-development by email or telephone, allows us to respond to enquiries and communicate with you to offer an appointment / correspond following assessment. The contact form asks for your name, email address and the reason for your enquiry. A record will be kept of correspondence or conversation.
Personal medical data is necessary to enable us to offer the service you have sought from us.
